Thermostat Connectivity: An optional thermostat can be connected to this heater, allowing you to set a required temperature within the space. The thermostat will switch the heater on and off as required in order to maintain the set temperature. This saves fuel and adds extra convenience.

The Arcotherm EC55 is a 51kW indirect oil fired space heater. It blows only clean, fume-free warm air out of the front of the unit and exhaust fumes are exhausted out of the top of the unit via a flue. Therefore it is a safe and reliable option for heating enclosed spaces with little ventilation, such as halls, workshops and marquees.
This portable space heater is simply wheeled into position outside the space that you need to heat and flexible ducting is used to duct the warm air into the space. This model is one of the most popular popular indirect space heaters in the UK, especially as a marquee heater or for the heating of temporary structures, construction sites, industrial spaces and horticultural & agricultural spaces (for the heating of glasshouses, polytunnels and grain drying applications).
This industrial space heater offers a heat output of 51kW, with an airflow rate of 2500m³ / hr. It features an AISI 430 stainless steel combustion chamber, automatic built in oil burner and a Danfoss pump, electronic flame control, safety thermostat and electronic control panel. It is mounted on a set of strong wheels with a handle bar, which allows it to be moved around and placed into position easily. The 65 litre internal fuel tank offers up to 12 hours continuous running time. This heater is a dual voltage machine, so it can be switched to the required voltage easily by removing the switch cover, setting the switch to the required voltage, and fitting the appropriate power cable and plug.
The EC55 provides a reliable, high-performance heating solution. It can be used with an optional thermostat on a 10m cable, to control the temperature within the space you wish to heat. It can also be used in conjunction with up to 7.6m of ducting, to duct the clean warm air from the space heater into the space you wish to heat, and provide heat to specific areas further away from the heater. You can also fit a 2-way splitter to the heater. This allows you to connect two sections of ducting, so you can heat two separate areas at once!

Operating at a fuel consumption rate of 4.64 litres / hr, this heater will comfortably operate continually for over 22 hours in the manual position. EC55 HD units come complete with a Tigerloop kit, allowing connection to an external tank if needed. You can select the HD version using the drop down menu above.

Recycling air allows your heater to work more efficiently, reducing fuel consumption and costs by up to 60%.

We bought this as a replacement for our Master BV170 heater which took a knock from a forklift truck and was unsafe for use. Price was very reasonable and delivery only took 2 days. The 3-year parts warranty was the deal breaker for us as our heaters sometimes run day and night, 7 days a week!
