Radium radiant tube heaters come in two versions. This version is the U type. The I-type, which enables more efficient use in some buildings, is also available on our site. The exhaust gases are discharged through a special exhaust pipe to the outside. Radium works by burning the air-gas mixture inside the radiating tube, which as a result builds temperatures up to as high as 800 °C.
The heat radiating from the unit provides an even dispersal of downward focused heat. Thanks to its specially designed radiant tube reflector large surface areas can be warmed to desired temperatures quickly. The heaters warm people and objects without heating the air. This allows for the reduction of air temperature and maintains optimum comfort. This also means temperatures can be regulated and maintained with minimum need for prolonged use of central heating systems. This lowers both energy consumption and the cost that comes with it.
