The Polti Cimex Eradicator Plus is a professional Steam Disinfection Device (SDD) designed for high-demand environments where chemical-free bed bug elimination and certified disinfection are required. Using Polti’s patented Superheated Chamber technology, the system delivers dry saturated steam at temperatures up to 180°C, providing an immediate thermal shock that kills bed bugs, eggs and microorganisms on contact. It is independently tested to eliminate 100% of eggs and 90% of adult bed bugs on the first pass.
The Cimex Eradicator Plus complies with the AFNOR NF T72-110 standard for medical-field disinfection. Laboratory testing confirms effectiveness against up to 99.999% of viruses, fungi, spores and bacteria, making the unit suitable for healthcare facilities, laboratories and hygiene-critical commercial environments.
The patented chamber heats boiler-generated steam to significantly higher temperatures at the point of delivery. This creates a low-moisture flow capable of penetrating seams, fabrics and hidden harbourage points. Treated areas dry quickly with no chemical residue, enabling rapid room reuse.
A 3-litre autorefill aluminium boiler and 5 bar maximum pressure provide continuous operation without downtime. The large tank and stable steam flow support extended treatment cycles in commercial settings.
The system is supplied with Polti HPMed, a compatible water–alcohol solution that reduces odours and helps break down organic residues. HPMed can be dispensed safely in the presence of people, supporting treatments in hotels, accommodations and shared spaces.
