Powder-Coating For Corrosion Resistance: The SH20N50AT air conditioner comes with a powder-coated 22-gauge, G60 steel air conditioner cabinet and Diamonblue coated coils for corrosion protection and to endure years of heavy-duty use in extremely demanding environments.
Enclosures For Added Protection: The Friedrich unit boasts a commercial grade enclosed fan motor, a steel enclosure for solid-state relays and a sealed control enclosure for the thermostat and on-off control. Ideal to cool laboratories, control rooms, living quarters, storage areas and other enclosures situated in hazardous locations.
Hermetically & Environmentally Sealed: The SH20N50AT has a hermetically sealed reciprocating compressor, which is suitable for use in harsh environments with extreme temperatures and humidity levels. There are also an environmentally sealed power switch and gold plated contacts in the thermostat for corrosion resistance.
Robust Steel Construction: In addition to the steel cabinet, the Hazardgard air con also comes with a stainless steel fan shaft. There are also industrial electrical cable harnesses and cable glands, which are designed for hard use.
