ATEX Certified: The EXHEAT HFT Flameproof Air Sensing Thermostat is a thermostat intended for use in explosive gas atmospheres (Group IIA, IIB, IIC). It is suitable for use in Hazardous Area Zones 1 & 2.
Extremely Flexible Temperature Range: The EXHEAT thermostat operates from -60°C to +60°C, which is suitable for use in a variety of environments, including industrial settings where extreme temperatures are common.
Sturdy Construction: The unit features a cast 316 stainless steel enclosure, which gives it an IP66 rating. It can withstand powered water jets coming from all sides and has the highest level of dust protection. Not only does the enclosure allow for up to two M20 cable entries, but it also provides external and internal earthing connections as well as an internal neutral link.
Wall-Mounting: The thermostat can be mounted on a wall to save space and provide easy access for temperature adjustments. Two shrouded mounting holes with a diameter of 6mm are provided for secure installation. It also allows for better visibility and accessibility for monitoring and maintenance purposes.
Flexible Options: There are three options for temperature control ranges. Therefore, you can choose the most suitable one based on your needs and requirements.
T6 Temperature Rating: With a T6 rating, the maximum surface temperature of the thermostat will not exceed 85°C, which suggests that it is suitable for use in environments with substances that have ignition temperatures higher than the maximum surface temperature of the equipment.
