Types of Workshop and Garage Heaters

Electric Fan Heaters
Electric fan heaters are designed to quickly warm air and distribute it quickly and effectively. They push warm air around by using a fan, allowing it to distribute evenly. The HEYLO DE10 Portable Industrial Electric Fan Heater - 3 Phase is a compact, easy to transport unit.
Infrared Heaters
Infrared heaters deliver fast, clean and efficient heat. They are best used for spot heating as they only warm objects and people within their range. As they use electromagnetic energy, they do not heat the surrounding air, meaning they are ideal for warming a specific area. They are great for well-ventilated areas or outside areas, as the wind does not affect the warmth they produce.
Direct Oil Fired Space Heaters
A direct oil fired space heater is designed to produce large amounts of heat quickly. It does so by passing air over a flame which is then blown into the area. As these heaters use gas, they are designed to only be used in large, well-ventilated spaces such as vast warehouses or storage facilities, as they produce fumes.
Indirect Oil FIred Space Heaters
On the contrary, indirect oil fired space heaters operate in the same manner as a direct space heater, although they are set up outside the facility and have the warm air they produce ducted inside. This prevents any fumes from entering the area and keeps the air safe. As a result, these heaters are better used in areas that aren’t as well ventilated or are smaller than what the average direct oil fired space heater is used in.
Cabinet Heaters
Cabinet heaters are floor standing units designed to remain fixed. They generate large volumes of clean, warm air and are designed for use in large spaces. Cabinet heaters also offer a wide variety of fuel types, including oil, gas, biofuel and waste oil.
