Ecor Pro DH800 INOX DryBoat 8 Desiccant Dehumidifier 220v 8 Litres

Ecor Pro DH800 INOX DryBoat 8 Commercial Dehumidifier

Designed for continuous 24/7 use

The Ecor Pro DH800 DryBoat is a stainless steel desiccant dehumidifier with an extraction capacity of 8 litres per day. It is specifically designed to be left running continuously and does not have a water tank that needs emptying. Instead, this dehumidifier contains an efficient axial fan and wet air exhaust with a push fitting that can be easily attached to ducting to vent out the moisture. The DH800 INOX is a compact dehumidifier and is one of the smallest 8 litre units on the market. It is also an extremely efficient and practical unit. Desiccant dehumidifiers draw in moist air and pass it through an absorbent mesh on a rotary wheel. The wheel turns and absorbs the moisture from the air before a fan expels the dried air back out into the space. Desiccant dehumidifiers work well in lower temperature environments and during colder weather. They can be beneficial as traditional refrigerant dehumidifiers might struggle to perform in these conditions.

Versatile Dehumidifier

Suitable for a range of challenging environments

The Ecor Pro DH800 INOX 8 desiccant dehumidifier is a versatile dehumidifier that can be used anywhere. It is designed as a boat dehumidifier and can be used on most sized vessels and in shipping yards. It can also be used in a range of other challenging areas. For example, IcelandAir use these dehumidifiers to keep their jet engines dry whilst in storage (pictured above). The DH800 is perfect for regulating humidity levels in cabins and other compartments to prevent the effects of damp, mould, and bacteria that can lead to wear and damage. It is also ideal for drying sails, ropes, equipment, and clothes quickly after they have been drenched in harmful saltwater. This high quality INOX dehumidifier offers a level of resistance to corrosion caused by salt and chemicals that other dehumidifiers cannot match. The 220v 50Hz supply can be run off a 12v DC-220v AC converter or 110v to 220v transformers.

Robust & Durable Dehumidifier

A rugged drying solution

The Ecor Pro DryBoat 8 has a compact design, with a stainless steel construction inside and out. All of the components are heat treated to ensure performance and longevity in demanding environments. Any necessary maintenance and repairs are possible, with access made easy by the removable cover. Use in any space is easy as the DryBoat 8 can be used as a free standing unit that can be placed anywhere. The dehumidifier can be placed on the ground, under seats, or in cupboards and taken home at the end of the day. It is a lightweight machine with a sturdy carry handle than can be carried easily by one person. The handle can be removed and replaced with a flat top lid if necessary. This dehumidifier can also be installed anywhere, as the 4 anti-scratch plastic feet that swivel out to act as anchor points. It can be fixed at any angle, in awkward, confined spaces such as utility cupboards, crawl spaces, etc.

Effective & Efficient Drying System

1 single inlet & 2 separate outlets

This efficient dehumidifier uses a multidirectional system with 1 inlet and 2 outlets for greater efficiency. One outlet expels just the dry air and the second outlet vents the wet air out of the space. This wet air exhaust vents out the moisture in any direction, including upwards, so the unit can be used in any part of a boat, plus in basements and lower ground levels of shipyard buildings. By extracting the moisture completely, the dehumidifier can work in colder conditions. The inlet draws in the moist air in through the front of the dehumidifier. The inlet features an integrated flange which is designed to attach to optional flexible ducting. The ducting enhances the versatility of the unit because it can draw in air from any space, including rooms that are separate from where the dehumidifier is located. The inlet air can be ducted in using 125mm ducting and wet air exhaust can be ducted using 45mm ducting.

Marine Grade Stainless Steel: Made from marine grade 316 stainless steel - resistant to corrosion from salt water and other chemicals. Parts are heat treated for strength & durability. Designed for drying out areas on boats, equipment, sails and clothing. Also suitable for a range of other challenging drying applications.

Zeolite Absorbent: Efficiently and effectively removes moisture from the air, even in extremely low temperatures.

-20℃ to +40℃ Operating Temperature Range: The dehumidifier is effective in the most challenging conditions, in areas where a refrigerant dehumidifier would be no use.

3 Hole Design: Air in, dry air out & wet air exhaust. Moisture is removed by the absorbent and it is purged from the system as water vapour. This means there is no internal water tank to empty and the dehumidifier can be left to run 24/7.

Duct Air In & Out: The dehumidifier has vents fitted with flanges. Input air and wet exhaust air can be vented using simple ducting. This means air can be ducted in from anywhere in a building, on a boat or yacht, and the wet air can be exhausted outside.

Compact Size: Can be installed in very small spaces, such as cabins, engine rooms, cupboards, crawl spaces and more. It can also be used as a portable dehumidifier with ease, using the carry handle.

Dust Filter: Features a reticulated dust filter in a metal frame that can be cleaned easily or replaced when required to prevent dust particles entering the unit and impeding performance.

Humidistat Control: These dehumidifiers have their own internal humidistat. They can also be used with a remote humidistat, available as an optional accessory. A humidistat allows you to set a required humidity level in the space that you want to dry out, and it will switch the dehumidifier on and off automatically, as required, in order to maintain the desired humidity level. This adds extra convenience, as it means you do not need to continually switch the dehumidifier on and off yourself. It also saves energy and money!

Four Feet: Anti scratch plastic feet swivel out to provide anchor points for the dehumidifier if it is being installed on a wall or ceiling.

Auto Reset: If there is an interruption to the power supply, the dehumidifier will continue to operate as soon as the power has been returned. Perfect in locations where the there is a “dirty” power supply that can affect other electronically controlled products.

5m Power Cord: Plenty of cable to allow for easy installation in crawl spaces or lofts in the home for example.

Long Service Life: Ecor Pro dehumidifiers are professional pieces of equipment, built to last. They are designed to provide years of reliable service. They are very easy to maintain and service when required. The easy to access design keeps service simple and costs low.
