The Ecor Pro DH1200 desiccant dehumidifier is one of the smallest 12 litre dehumidifiers available on the market. Despite its size, it is still a powerful and efficient dehumidifier. It can perform as well as a traditional 25 litre refrigerant dehumidifier at 18°C. The desiccant drying process is much more effective in colder conditions than a compressor dehumidifier - so the DH1200 has an operating temperature range of -20℃ to 40℃. This makes it ideal for more challenging, un-heated spaces, including basements, garages, attics and crawl spaces, as well as laundry rooms, workshops and industrial units.

Efficient 3 Vent Drying System

The DH1200 DryFan dehumidifier features a 3 vent drying system. This consists of one air inlet and two air outlets. Air is drawn in from the space through the inlet, where it is filtered by the air filter and dries by the desiccant material. One of the outlets expels this dry processed air back out into the space. The second outlet is a wet air exhaust, where moisture is expelled out of the unit as water vapour and outside through a hole in the wall. Optional flexible ducting is available which attaches to these vents. The ducting allows you to vent wet exhaust air outside or vent ambient air in from the space, if the dehumidifier it situated in a separate room from the one you want to dry. The input air can be ducted in using 125mm diameter ducting. The dry air can be ducted out using 125mm ducting. The water vapour exhaust can be connected to 45mm ducting.

The DH1200 is designed to perform in demanding environments. The main body is an all steel construction - inside and out, with a durable epoxy paint finish. All of the components are quality parts, and they are heat treated to provide longevity. Maintenance and repair is easy if it is needed. The reticulated dust filter can be cleaned or replaced easily to prevent any ingress that could impact its performance. The cover can be removed quickly for access to worn parts and cord sets. This lightweight unit has a sturdy carry handle that can be removed and replaced with a flat top lid if necessary for installation. The versatility of the unit means it can be used as a free-standing dehumidifier, or it can be installed at any angle. There are 4 anti-scratch plastic feet which swivel out to act as anchor points. The generous 5m power lead ensures that no extension leads or additional cables are needed if the dehumidifier is needed for awkward or confined spaces such as lofts, basements, under stairs or in cupboards.

You can also add on a remote humidistat. The remote humidistat is convenient if the unit is in a concealed space, or if it is ducted in a position that is difficult to reach. 3 Hole Design: Air in, dry air out & wet air out. Moisture is removed by the absorbent and purged from the system as water vapour. This means there is no internal water tank to empty and the dehumidifier can be left to run 24/7.

Duct Air In & Out: The dehumidifier has vents fitted with flanges. Input air and wet exhaust air can be vented using simple ducting. This means air can be ducted in from the space and the wet air can be exhausted outside through a hole in an external wall.

Humidistat Control: This unit has a humidistat dial which allows you to set a required relative humidity level in the space and the dehumidifier will switch itself on and off to maintain the set level - adding convenience and saving on running costs. This dehumidier can also be used with a remote humidistat, available as an optional accessory - ideal when the machine is installed out of immediate reach, such as on a ceiling or in a crawl space.
