The Ecor Pro DH1200 is designed to perform in demanding environments. It has an operating temperature range of -20℃ to 40℃. It is very efficient and effective in lower temperature environments and during the colder months when traditional dehumidifiers and competitor models struggle to perform. It is a small, compact unit weighing just 6.4kg and is easy set up for in different areas over shorter periods, or as a permanent installation in a specific spot. There are 4 anti-scratch plastic feet which swivel out to act as anchor points. Despite its size, it is still a powerful and efficient dehumidifier. Desiccant dehumidifiers work differently to refrigerant dehumidifiers. They draw in moist air, and pass it through an absorbent mesh on a rotary wheel. As the wheel turns, it absorbs much of the moisture from the air. An internal fan then expels the dry air back out via 1 outlet while the moisture is vented away separately via the wet air exhaust outlet. The Ecor Pro DH1200 DryBoat 12 features 3 vents to manage this efficient system. This system consists of 1 inlet and 2 outlets. The inlet draws in air so that it can be dust filtered and dried. One of the outlets expels this processed air back out into the space again. The second wet air exhaust outlet ensures that the moisture is vented away out of the boat. As the DH1200 DryBoat 12 expels moist air through the vent rather into a tank or drain, it can be left operating almost indefinitely. This is a major benefit for a boat dehumidifier. Each of the 3 vents features an integrated flange so that optional flexible industrial ducting can be attached. The ducting allows you to direct air into and out of the dehumidifier so that you can reduce the moisture in any part of your boat, even if it is separate to where the dehumidifier is installed. Ducting for the exhaust outlet vents out the moisture in any direction, including upwards. The inlet air and outlet dry air can be ducted using 125mm ducting. Other accessories include a humidistat, which connects to the dehumidifier and can be used to set the required relative humidity level in the space. The humidistat will automatically switch the dehumidifier on and off as required in order to maintain the pre-set humidity level.
