The Ecor Pro DH1211 desiccant dehumidifier is one of the smallest 110v marine dehumidifiers available. It is designed for use on all vessels, in shipping yards and in a range of other challenging areas. These boat dehumidifiers are suitable for use in cabins and other compartments to control humidity levels and to prevent the growth of damp, mould, bacteria and rot that can lead to wear and damage. They are also ideal for drying sails, ropes, equipment and clothes after they have been drenched in saltwater. The Ecor Pro DH1211 DryBoat is a commercial grade 110v dehumidifier made from stainless steel - offering a level of resistance to corrosion caused by salt and chemicals that other dehumidifiers cannot match. It is a quality piece of equipment with a 124m3/h air volume capacity and the capability to be left to run continuously 24/7. It is suitable for use in any climate, and offers a vast moisture extraction volume with low energy consumption. The 110v 50Hz supply can be run off a 12v DC-220v AC converter or 110v to 220v transformers. Desiccant dehumidifiers work differently to refrigerant dehumidifiers. They draw in moist air, and pass it through an absorbent mesh on a rotary wheel. As the wheel turns, it absorbs much of the moisture from the air. An internal fan then expels the dry air back out via 1 outlet while the moisture is vented away separately via the wet air exhaust outlet. As it does not use a refrigerated heat exchange to create condensation, they are more efficient and effective in lower temperature environments and during the colder months when traditional dehumidifiers just cannot perform well. The Ecor Pro DH1211 DryBoat dehumidifier is designed to perform in demanding environments. It is a small, compact unit that is easy set up temporarily or as a permanent fixture. There are 4 anti-scratch plastic feet which swivel out to act as anchor points so you can install the DH1211 at any angle. All of the components are high quality, and they are heat treated to provide longevity. Maintenance and repair are also easy because the cover can be removed quickly for access to worn parts and cord sets. The reticulated dust filter can also be easily removed to be cleaned or replaced to prevent any ingress that could enter the unit and impact its performance. The Ecor Pro DH1211 DryBoat 12 uses a 3 vent system that consists of 1 inlet and 2 outlets. The inlet draws in air so that it can be dust filtered and dried. One outlet expels this processed air back out into the space again. The second wet air exhaust outlet ensures that the moisture is vented away. Ducting allows you to manage the moisture in any part of your boat with the dehumidifier installed in an adjoining space. As the DH1211 DryBoat expels moist air through the vent rather into a tank or drain, it can be left operating almost indefinitely.

The input air can be ducted in using 125mm diameter ducting. The dry air can be ducted out using 125mm ducting.
