Warehouse Heaters For Large Industrial Spaces
Help keep large industrial spaces warm, productive and energy efficient with high performance warehouse and factory heaters. Designed for demanding industrial and commercial environments, our wide selection offers a choice between gas heaters and electric heaters.
At National Heater Shops, our extensive range of industrial warehouse heaters and factory heaters includes trusted products from leading industry brands, such as Master, Thermobile, Arcotherm and Elite amongst others. These heaters are designed to safely, efficiently and effectively warm large industrial and commercial areas such as:
Warehouses
Manufacturing facilities
Production plants
Storage facilities
Many of the units we provide are also scalable, meaning that multiple units can be purchased and used together throughout the space, allowing for solutions across areas of different sizes with different requirements.
Industrial Heaters For Warehouses and Factories
We have a wide range of industrial heaters suitable for warehouses and factories available.
Infrared Warehouse Heaters
Our selection of infrared heaters offer efficient, effective spot heating for warehouses and factory spaces. Infrared heating works by warming objects and people as opposed to the air. This means it is useful in areas that require specific spot heating, or areas that may be susceptible to breeze or wind. If you wish to install an infrared heater, check out our infrared heating calculator to ensure it is the right size and power for the job at hand.
Electric Fan Factory Heaters
Electric fan heaters offer clean, fume-free heat by helping warm air move throughout an area. These heaters use a heating element to help deliver warm air to an area. Cold air is drawn in over this element which warms it up, and it is recirculated using the fan. These heaters are often loud and provide various volumes of warm air depending on their size.
Direct Fired Warehouse Heaters
Direct-fired heaters, also known as direct space heaters, offer fast, powerful heat directly to an area. These units are usually gas-powered, and as a result produce fumes. It is important that direct space heaters are only used in very well-ventilated areas due to the fumes that they produce. Units such as the Sealey AB3412 Direct Oil-Fired Space Heater are capable of producing 100kW of heat 1,300 m³/h airflow which is suitable for heating expansive industrial areas up to 2,000 m³.
Indirect Fired Warehouse Heaters
Indirect fired heaters, also known as indirect space heaters, work similarly to direct space heaters, except they stay outside of the property, and the clean, warm air is ducted inside the space. The Thermobile ITA 75 Indirect Fired Space Heater delivers 70 kW of flue-based heat at 91% efficiency with 3,800 m³/h airflow. Heavy-duty construction and a high-grade combustion chamber ensure durability for continuous use in industrial and commercial spaces.
Waste Oil Burners For Industrial Settings
A waste oil burner is used to generate heat by burning leftover oil. These particular heaters are especially useful in factory settings, as they can be fueled using potential byproducts. They do, however, require a permit to allow them to run. This permit is obtained under Schedule 13A of the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2010, which costs for both the application along with an annual fee.

Choosing the Right Warehouse Heater
When selecting the correct heating system. There are several factors that should be considered. These include, but are not limited to:
Heating capacity - Larger spaces require higher heater output to maintain temperatures.
Fuel type - We have options for both electric heaters and gas powered heaters.
Ventilation requirements - Certain heaters require excellent ventilation due to risk of fumes.
Portability - We offer a selection of fixed and portable heaters.
Energy efficiency - Modern industrial heating is designed to maximise heat output whilst reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
Warehouse Heater and Factory Heater FAQs
What is the best type of heater for a warehouse?
The best warehouse heater depends on the size of the building, insulation quality, ventilation and operational requirements. Electric heaters are usually considered a good all-round solution as they are ideal for enclosed spaces - however gas and diesel heaters are commonly used for larger spaces that require high heat output due to their speed and high output.
Do I need ventilation for a factory heater?
Some fuel powered heaters require ventilation due to the fumes generated through operation. Electric warehouse heaters generally do not require additional ventilation, however.
Can industrial heaters be used continuously?
Many industrial heaters are built for long operation hours and demanding commercial and industrial environments. Make sure to always check manufacturer’s specifications when purchasing a heater, especially if you are aware it will require continuous operation.
