Low Grain Dehumidifiers and LGR Dehumidifiers
We have a wide selection of low grain dehumidifiers available. Also known as LGR dehumidifiers, these units are designed to remove more moisture from the air than some conventional models.

Robust LGR Dehumidifiers For Demanding Tasks
Low grain dehumidifiers, also known as LGR dehumidifiers are designed for demanding tasks. These dehumidifiers operate effectively in challenging conditions that may not be suitable for other types of dehumidifier.
Best used in maintaining and controlling large environments, our range of LGR dehumidifiers offer performance, trustworthiness and efficiency that can be relied on.
A low grain dehumidifier uses a series of refrigerated coils that lower air temperatures to dew point so that moisture condensates. However, they also have a dual cooling system. Low grain dehumidifiers feature an air-to-air exchanger to transfer heat instead of liquid refrigerants. The double cooling systems allow LGR dehumidifiers to withdraw more moisture.
This double cooling system helps LGR dehumidifiers to withdraw more moisture from the air, in doing so allowing them to work in harsher conditions and in low humidity environments. You can continue to remove water below 55 grains per pound with a quality low grain system.
Choosing An LGR Dehumidifier
Low grain dehumidifiers have a variety of advantages to other dehumidifier types.
The use of low grain dehumidifiers is more appropriate for large areas such as warehouses, production and manufacturing plants and large server rooms. Additionally, these units are often used in flood recovery and water damage restoration jobs, or for humidity control in sensitive areas.
Our range of low grain dehumidifiers feature models from specialist manufacturers such as Dri-Eaz and Ecor Pro. These units are robust and designed for heavy duty work in environments where other conventional dehumidifiers may struggle.

Why Use A Dehumidifier?
A dehumidifier is used to reduce the humidity in an area, improving drying times and making the climate comfortable. Humidity refers to the amount of water present in the air, and a high relative humidity refers to an environment where the humidity is above 60%. Generally speaking, humidity should be at approximately 40-50% to be considered dry. Some areas benefit from having an even lower humidity level due to sensitive equipment or materials present.
Dehumidifiers are commonly used in storage areas such as garages and lofts to keep belongings and stored items safe. They are also commonly used in flood recovery and water damage restoration as they assist in drying processes. In these circumstances, dehumidifiers are sometimes coupled with carpet dryers or water pumps to speed up the drying process.
