Indirect Space Heaters
Portable heaters for enclosed spaces
Indirect fired space heaters are designed for heating enclosed, indoor, and poorly ventilated spaces. They produce only clean, fume-free & dry warm air, so they can be used for heating halls, marquees, galas, event tents, workshops, farmhouses, and a range of other indoors spaces safely.
These heaters can be fuelled using diesel, heating oil, paraffin or kerosene. The flame burns inside a combustion chamber and warms a heat exchanger. A fan at the back of the unit draws air in and passes it around the heat exchanger. The temperature of the air rises as it blows over the heat exchanger. The clean warm air blows out of the front of the heater while fumes are expelled out of the top of the unit through the flue.
These portable heaters can be placed outside the area you want to heat, and the clean, warm air can be ducted inside through flexible hoses. They can also be used as a more permanent heater, by placing the unit indoors and installing a flue to exhaust the fumes outside through a wall or roof.
Indirect oil fiired heaters are highly versatile. As the warm air is 100% clean and safe, you can use them in sensitive areas, such as food processing factories, oil refineries, foundries, or storage centres. With the output warm air also being dry, you can use them for drying applications and frost protection. They work extremely well with industrial fans and dehumidifiers. If you need a more efficient source of heat and have a well-ventilated space like construction sites, a direct diesel space heater might be a better match.
