The Dantherm CDF 50 dehumidifier is ideal for large-scale humidity control in sensitive areas. These hard-wearing units draw in large volumes of humid air through a vent and then pass the air through a refrigerated evaporator. The evaporator is kept cold and cools the air down to below its dew point. The moisture in the air then condensates and drains towards the condensate outlet which can be connected to a 3/4“ water hose or the building water mains. The warm, dry air is then expelled back into the room and recycled. The dehumidification process is accompanied by a supply of warm air, making the CDF 50 an extraordinarily versatile and economical unit. With an operating temperature range of 3 - 30℃ and a humidity range of 40 - 100%. With an airflow of 680 m³/h, this dehumidifier is capable of removing up to 34.8 litres of water in 24 hours. The axial fan provides a well balanced and consistent airflow.

The internal components, such as the evaporator and condenser coils, have an epoxy-coating - designed for high corrosion resistance that will ensure longevity. The dehumidifier is integrated into a sturdy and robust metal cabinet that is made from a powder coated hot galvanised sheet metal.
Simple Installation
Straightforward operation
Installation is incredibly easy as the CDF 50 is fixed to any suitable, internal wall using the strong wall mounting strip supplied with the unit. This Dantherm dehumidifier is designed for usability, featuring an electronic control panel, clear display, and a built-in hygrostat and thermostat. The display updates with the current operation status at all times and colour coded diodes signify working modes. The CDF 50 features an active, demand-controlled defrost function, so if the environment temperature drops below the operational temperature of the unit, it will shut down automatically. The refrigerant circuit is supplied with a service value for easy access, and the PCB is USB connectable for easy data logging and quick fault finding. The air filters at the front of the dehumidifier can be reached through the front cover and are removable and washable.

If you do not have suitable wall space to mount the CDF 50, the floor mounting kit allows you to reorient the unit to be safely placed at ground level. There is also a wireless remote for convenient control, water heating and electric heating coils for additional heating capabilities. Exhaust fans are available to ensure a fresh, clean atmosphere when used in enclosed spaces.
