It is an efficient dehumidifier that can control the level of relative humidity in the air precisely, so it is also suitable for libraries, museums, storage rooms, galleries and other spaces where humidity, rot, fungus, corrosion and bacteria can spread through sensitive materials quickly if left untreated.

The DH 30AX is a traditional refrigerant dehumidifier that offers high performance and low cost solution to climate control in many public areas.

The Calorex DH 30 commercial dehumidifier is designed to be installed permanently, offering humidity control in demanding, public areas. It has a polyester coated evaporator and condenser and a plastisol coated galvanised steel cabinet. The robust design can withstand the physical demands of regular onsite use in challenging environments, ensuring reliability and a long service life.

The dehumidifier has centrifugal fans inside that draw humid air in through the vent and disperse the dry air back out into the space. The centrifugal fans in the DH 30 are extremely quiet during operation, which makes it even more convenient for use in many commercial spaces. It is ideal for schools, libraries, museums and galleries in particular, where a calm atmosphere is required and people do not want to be disturbed by mechanical noises.

Fully Automatic Dehumidifier

Self contained space drying solution

The Calorex DH 30 is a self contained, fully automatic dehumidifier that can be installed into place and allowed to run continuously - removing the excess moisture from a space and maintaining the ideal relative humidity. There is an integrated humidistat that turns the machine on and off as it is required to maintain the chosen conditions. The humidistat reduces the need for an operator to alter the settings of the dehumidifier, and it also cuts costs and reduces energy consumption.

Excess moisture is drawn into the machine, and then the condensate is fed out of the space through a wall, and directed towards a drainage system through a 16mm hose connected to the drain outlet. The Calorex DH 30 Wall Mounted Dehumidifier does not have a water tank built into the unit, so it does not require regular emptying and can be left to run at all times, without supervision. The dehumidifier also features an automatic defrosting function is also built into the system. If the evaporator reaches near freezing temperatures, the defrost function flushes the evaporator with hot gas. Once a preset temperature is reached, the dehumidifier resumes regular operation.

A range of optional accessories are available for the Calorex DH30 dehumidifier, including a remote humidistat, which can be wired to the dehumidifier with up to 100m of cable (1mm SQ cable), allowing control of the set humidity level away from the unit. A floor stand is also available, which allows the dehumidifier to be placed on the floor - up against a wall - rather than wall mounted.
