This dehumidifier is best suited to large spaces such as warehouses, cargo storage, and other storage rooms of approximately 2490m³. It is perfect for keeping spaces dry that contain product and items that can become damaged by humidity or are sensitive to humidity. The DH 7160 is ideal for protecting storage rooms with wooden, metal, paper, leather, and electronic items to ensure their integrity is maintained. Capable of producing a massive airflow of 1700 m³/h and with an operating temperature range of 5 - 32℃, this powerful dehumidifier can facilitate fast dehumidification and drying. For restoration following a flood and renovation works, the DH 7160 is most effective in areas of 996m³.

The Master DH 7160 is capable of removing a massive 166 litres of water from a space within 24 hours. Dehumidification on this level is ideal for protecting sensitive stored goods, avoiding damp and mildew in a room, and for large scale flood damage restoration. These refrigerant dehumidifiers use the process of forced condensation to remove moisture from the air, walls, and floors within a room. The large, powerful centrifugal fan draws in humid air into the dehumidifier and puts it through a three phase compressor. As the air passes through the compressor, it is cooled down to below its dew point temperature. This causes the water vapour in the air to condense into a liquid which is continuously drained. The dry air is heated and blown back into the room to repeat the process.

Despite their heavy duty capabilities, Master DH 7160 dehumidifiers are very simple to operate. The electric control panel displays humidity levels and allows you to set the unit up for continuous operation or to regulate humidity using the built-in electronic humidistat. Memory settings are also available so you can program specific settings and select them on separate occasions. The automatic defrosting function will engage intermittently when the dehumidifier is operating at low temperatures. During defrost, an LED will indicate that it is in progress. The compressor will continue to run, but the fan motor automatically shuts down until defrosting is complete and regular operation resume.
