Powerful Moisture Removal
This EBAC industrial dehumidifier is capable of extracting up to 35 litres of moisture per day from the air.
It is a robust unit, with an epoxy-coated steel chassis and an all-galvanized steel interior for resilience in challenging environments. It boasts an airflow rate of 120m3/hr, an effective volume of 237m3 and an operating temperature range of 3°C to 35°C with a humidity range of 35% to 90%.
This dehumidifier features a highly efficient rotary compressor and a one-speed internal fan. The fan draws air into the unit and passes it over a set of refrigerated coils. Moisture is extracted from the air as it naturally condenses on the cold coils. It is collected in a condensate tray, equipped with a permanent drain.
The air then passes through the hot condenser coil where it is reheated using the same energy removed during the cooling phase, plus the additional heat generated by the compressor. The air is, therefore, discharged from the dehumidifier at a slightly higher temperature with a lower absolute humidity than that which entered. Continuous circulation of air through the dehumidifier gradually reduces the relative humidity within the area.
The EBAC CD85 is a quiet, high efficiency, high capacity dehumidifier, designed with the flexibility to solve humidity problems in a wide range of different spaces. It has a great range of extra features to ensure high quality performance, including an air filter which captures airborne dust particles to prevent poor quality air from being circulated by the unit, as well as anti-vibration rubber feet which absorb vibrations to reduce the noise level of the machine while it operates.
Configurable Airflow Options
The EBAC CD85 Industrial Dehumidifier features a unique configurable design that allows you to change air inlet and outlet positions to suit the specific needs of your space. Four airflow positions can be achieved simply by reconfiguring the outlet covers with a screwdriver.
This dehumidifier also features a high capacity backward curved fan, which makes the EBAC CD85 dehumidifier ideal for ducted installations.
Humidistat Control
The EBAC CD85 compressor dehumidifier has a humidistat which allows you to set a desired humidity level within the space. The dehumidifier will turn itself on and off as required in order to maintain the set humidity level on the humidistat. This is great for automatically controlling humidity in sensitive environments, such as storage rooms, server rooms, archives, museums and other areas where a consistent humidity level is vital to maintaining the integrity of items kept within the space. This also adds extra convenience, as you can leave the dehumidifier to operate without having to think about it.
The CD85 is available with either a manual humidistat dial or a digital humidistat. The digital humidistat allows more precise and accurate control of the relative humidity in the space.
Integrated Condensate Pump
The CD85 has an integrated condensate pump with a 7.8m hose. It automatically pumps collected moisture out of the unit, meaning there is no need to keep emptying a water tank. This makes it ideal for continuous operation. This feature makes removing moisture from cellars and basements easy.
Hot Gas Defrost
The EBAC CD85 commercial dehumidifier features a hot gas defrost system which automatically engages on a timer for 5 minutes every 55 minutes. This system flushes hot gas through the coil system to melt any frost and ice buildup. It means that the dehumidifier continues to operate efficiently and effectively over long periods and in cold conditions.
