This compressor dehumidifier works by drawing in the air from a room and passing it over cold coils - similar to the coils in a fridge. Moisture in the air condenses on to the cold coils and the water droplets are collected by the dehumidifier and pumped out by the internal condensate pump through a supplied 12m drainage hose. This hose can be placed in a suitable drainage point, allowing the dehumidifier to be left to run continuously, without the need to empty a water tank. The pump can even push moisture up to 5m uphill, so it is suitable for use in basements and cellars. The automatic pump also has a safety cut out in case the water outlet is accidentally blocked for any reason.

The Dri Eaz 1200 dehumidifier has a 3M™ HAF filter as standard, an integrated duct ring for easy duct attachment, a hot-gas bypass for faster defrosting, and a manual pump purge included. The electronic control panel is incredibly intuitive and easy to read. It features simple controls, hour counters, and diagnostic aids.

Auto Condensate Pump: Capable of pumping water up to 12m away, including 5m uphill, using the 12m drain hose provided. This means there is no need to continuously empty a water tank and the unit can be left to run for long periods. The uphill pump capability means that the dehumidifier can be used effectively in basements and cellars.

LayFlat Ducting Available: You can attach Dri-Eaz layflat ducting to the expel air vent on the back of your dehumidifier. It is made from a strong 4mm poly which comes in 152.4 metre rolls that are nominally 26.2cm wide and expands up to 33cm in diameter. You can cut the ducting to length.

Integrated Duct Ring: Allows for easy duct attachment and helps distribute dry air across a wide area. Allows fresh outside air into the space rather than just circulating stale air.

Hot-Gas Bypass: Provides faster defrosting and helps to prevent condensate from freezing on the evaporator coil when the system is operating at extremely low load conditions.

Manual Pump Purge: Empties water from the pump reservoir. During normal operation, the pump purges automatically every six minutes or whenever the reservoir is full.
