Effective cooling without the cost of an air conditioning system
Broughton Comcool 52 evaporative coolers provide a fast, efficient and cost effective way of cooling a range of large spaces. Evaporative coolers are much cheaper to run than air conditioning units, as they do not use a refridgerant system that consumes a lot of power. They harness the natural process of evaporation to cool air and use some low power components to circulate the cool air around the space. Comcool 52 evaporative coolers feature an internal 90 litre water tank, a diaphragm pump, cooling pads and an internal fan. These evaporative air coolers work by pumping water from the water tank up to the top of the machine, where it then flows down through the cooling pads. The internal fan draws warm air into the machine from the surrounding area and passes it through the wet cooling pads. This causes water droplets to evaporate into the warm air - which naturally reduces the temperature of the air, making it cooler and more comfortable. The internal fan then circulates this cooler air out of the front of the machine to cool the area effectively. As the small motor used to run the fan and the diaphragm pump used to move the water from the tank to the top of the machine consume very little power, these evaporative coolers cost much less than an equivalent air conditioning unit costs to run.

Broughton's Comcool 52 is a high quality piece of equipment designed as an industrial cooler, for cooling a range of large spaces both indoors and outdoors. These industrial air coolers are powerful and efficient pieces of equipment. They are capable of producing an equivalent 20kW of cooling from as little as 2A. The water supply can be fed via the internal 90L tank or directly from a tap via the water connector, for continuous use without needing to keep topping up the tank. These evaporative air coolers also have a water filter and a tank purge system, controlled via the side control panel. These industrial air coolers require no complicated setup or installation. Simply plug the Broughton Comcool 52 into a standard 240v plug socket, fill up the water tank or connect it to a tap using the water connector, switch on the pump and fan using the simple side control panel, and the evaporative cooler will quickly start to circulate cool air. The locking castors allow these machines to be wheeled around to wherever they are needed and then secured in place.
Please note: Evaporative coolers are designed for use in well ventilated low humidity spaces. For example, windows or doors should be opened or there should be some other access to outside air, in order to allow a supply of fresh air into the space that you want to cool. Evaporative coolers should not be used in areas with no ventilation, as this can lead to a build-up of condensation within the space. These air coolers must not be used in areas that contain delicate materials that could be affected by a rise in humidity, such as server rooms. An air conditioner is the best cooling option for those areas.
