Direct Heaters
Direct heaters are designed for well ventilated spaces or semi-open structures. These heaters help to provide immediate and powerful warmth for a cost-effective price. Direct heaters should only be used in areas that are extremely well ventilated as they produce fumes and moisture.
Indirect Heaters
Indirect (oil-fired) heaters are a popular choice for marquee heating as they can be used to heat areas of different sizes and layouts. Unlike direct heaters, indirect heaters sit on the outside of the marquee and duct clean, dry air inside.
Infrared Heaters
Infrared heaters warm objects using electromagnetic energy. Unlike other types of heater, infrared units do not warm the air itself and instead warm objects, meaning that they can be used in areas that could potentially be windy and still be effective. As a result, they are best used for spot heating and multiple units may be required to heat larger areas. Marquee heaters are safe to be used when installed correctly. This means ensuring that direct heaters are only used in well ventilated spaces and ensuring that indirect heaters are ducted correctly.
Can marquee heaters be used in all weather conditions?
Many of the heaters we provide are capable of performing in cold, wet and even freezing conditions. Correct setup, including secure ducting and positioning ensures consistent performance.
