Construction Site and Building Heaters For Large Scale Warmth
Keeping construction sites running efficiently during cold weather requires dependable heating solutions. Our range of construction site heaters is designed to provide effective, robust and reliable heat for demanding, oftentimes open spaces.
Construction site heaters are an essential piece of equipment used to allow work to continue safely and comfortably throughout the year.
At National Heater Shops, we supply a comprehensive selection of construction site heaters appropriate for construction sites, warehouses, workshops, factories, temporary structures, refurbishment projects, and other commercial applications.
With options for electric fan heaters, infrared heaters, cabinet heaters, direct space heaters, indirect space heaters and waste oil heaters available.
Professional Heating Solutions For Construction Sites
Construction environments present unique heating challenges. Large open spaces, partially enclosed structures, changing layouts, and harsh weather conditions all require specialist heating equipment that can deliver consistent performance whilst withstanding these challenges.
We have options available from leading brands and manufacturers such as Master, Elite, Thermobile, REMKO, Sealey and Broughton amongst others. These models are reliable, robust and fully capable of handling the demanding nature of construction site heating.
Electric Fan Heaters
Electric fan heaters are a popular choice for construction site heating, as they are capable of producing large amounts of hot air and circulating it quickly. These particular heaters, such as the Broughton FF42 Industrial Electric Fan Heater - 3 Phase are best used in large spaces with poor ventilation.
Direct Oil Fired Heaters
Direct oil fired heaters produce large amounts of heat through the process of burning oil. These heaters pass air over an open flame which in turn warms the surrounding area. As a result, these space heaters produce fumes, and are best used in huge, well-ventilated spaces.
Indirect Oil Fired Heaters
These heaters work similarly to their direct counterparts, however the unit itself is set up outside of the area that is being heated, and clean warm air from the heater is ducted inside the designated area. This prevents any harmful fumes from entering.
Infrared Heaters
Infrared heaters are ideal for spot heating environments as they only warm objects and people situated in their range, as they do not heat the air surrounding them. Infrared heaters are also equally as effective in well-ventilated and open spaces as they are unaffected by wind.
Cabinet Heaters
Cabinet heaters are large, freestanding units that are designed for generating large amounts of heat. They offer less portability than many other types of heater but can oftentimes handle more challenging environments due to their output.
Supporting Productivity Throughout the Year
Cold temperatures can easily affect construction schedules, worker comfort and material performance. Investing in the correct construction site heater helps to maintain operational efficiency and increasing workable hours whilst reducing worker discomfort.
Construction Site Heater FAQs
What is a construction site heater?
A construction site heater is a heating unit designed to provide temporary or permanent heat within construction, industrial and commercial environments. These heaters are typically built for durability, portability and high performance operation year-round.
How do I choose the correct heater size?
Heater sizing depends on factors including building dimensions, insulation levels, ventilation, ambient temperature and required heat output. You can use our heating calculator to help decide what output you would need for an area of a specific size.
