Industrial Air Scrubbers and Air Cleaners
Industrial air scrubbers and cleaners are used for filtering dust, odours, pollutants and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air. They are commonly used in restoration projects, renovations or on construction sites.

Air Scrubbers For Industrial Applications
Professional air scrubbers are ideal for industrial, commercial and restoration environments. These pieces of equipment are engineered to manage demanding airborne contaminants including construction dust, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odours, mould spores and other fine particulates found in commercial and industrial settings.
Unlike air purifiers, industrial air scrubbers are designed to manage larger volumes of contaminants in much more demanding areas. These units are typically bigger, with robust outer casing and higher capacities. Our range includes units suitable for temporary projects, permanent facilities and specialist compliance-driven applications.
Air Cleaners For Professional Use
At National Heater Shops, we understand that air quality management is critical in both industrial and commercial environments. Our range of air scrubbers and air cleaners are selected to meet the needs of professional users who require reliable performance, robust filtration and dependable long-term operation. The units we provide offer solutions tailored to different industries, such as:
Construction and refurbishment projects
Water and fire damage restoration
Manufacturing and production facilities
Warehouse and logistics centres
Healthcare and sterile environments
Commercial property maintenance
Dust and odour applications
For additional units to aid in water damage restoration, check out our wide range of water damage dehumidifiers and carpet dryers.
What Are Air Scrubbers?
Air scrubbers are specialist filtration systems designed to remove airborne particles and contaminants from indoor environments. These scrubbers typically use multi-stage filtration systems, including HEPA filters, to capture fine dust, allergens, debris and other particulates.
A HEPA filter is an advantage filter which efficiently traps at least 99.75% of airborne particles. These filters are replaceable and should be changed at least every 6 months depending on usage. We have options for some replacement HEPA filters, such as the Elite Hepa 13 Replacement Filter for Air Scrubber.
Sometimes also referred to as negative air machines, air scrubbers are portable units that do not need ducting to function, but can be installed with ducting for permanent use. These appliances use negative ions that attach themselves to both airborne and surface particles, making them heavier and easier to clean up. In some cases, an air pollution scrubber can take these heavier particles and filter them through an internal system.

Air Scrubber FAQs
What is the difference between an air purifier and an air scrubber?
Air scrubbers are typically designed for industrial, commercial and restoration work whereas air purifiers are generally intended for domestic or light commercial environments. Our selection of air scrubbers feature higher airflow performance and greater heavy duty filtration options.
Are air scrubbers suitable for construction sites?
Yes. Air scrubbers are widely used in construction and refurbishment to help manage and maintain the amount of debris and particles that become airborne during processes.
Can air scrubbers create negative air pressure?
Some models are designed for negative air pressure applications, helping to contain contaminants within controlled work areas during projects.
Do air scrubbers use HEPA filters?
Many industrial air cleaners utilise HEPA filters to capture very fine airborne particles.
