Vaillant VR71 5 Relay Output Wiring Centre
The Vaillant VR71 5 Relay Output Wiring Centre is an expansion module for Vaillant boiler systems. Designed for sophisticated multi-zone installations, this module allows engineers to connect and control heating systems, such as underfloor heating, radiators, mixed circuits, and solar from one central unit.
Through Vailant's eBUS protocol, the VR71 works to expand your system's flexibility beyond single or dual zones into more complex systems requiring control of 3 mixed or unmixed heating zones.
Features and Benefits: Vaillant VR71
Control Multi Zone Heating: Control up to 3 individual heating zones (2 heating + 1 Solar Thermal) perfect for homes with varying heating needs.
5 x 230V Relay Outputs: For critical hardware control i.e. circulating pumps, motorised zone valves and 3-way mixing valves
6 Sensor Inputs: For up to 6 temperature sensors (VR10 / VR11 NTC sensors) allowing accurate temperature monitoring throughout the system.
Smart Temperature Control: From one system you can control both your radiators and underfloor heating, even if they require different water temperatures to produce the desired effect.
DHW & Solar Thermal: Includes domestic hot water cylinder control and connection to solar thermal collector loops straight to your main heating controller.
eBUS Protocol & System Diagnostics
The VR71 is constantly communicating via Vaillant's low-voltage eBUS bi-directional communication protocol with the main system controller.
LED Status Indication: Diagnostic LEDs integrated into the internal PCB allow for rapid signal testing and fast commissioning during installation.
Lower Fuel Bills: You could really think of it like cruise control for your central heating. Rather than just switching on and off, data is collected and sent to the boiler or heat pump to tell it whether the flow temperature needs to be increased or decreased.
