Vaillant Vertical Roof Terminal Black – 60/100mm
Designed for roof-mounted terminations on suitable Vaillant ecoTEC boiler installations, the Vaillant Vertical Roof Terminal (60/100mm) is UV-resistant and comes in weather-durable black. It is installed on boilers to draw in fresh air and expel waste flue gases cleanly and safely in accordance with boiler manufacturer instructions and regulations.
Features and Benefits: Vaillant Vertical Roof Terminal Black
Coaxial Efficiency: A pipe-within-a-pipe structure is used so that the fresh air required for combustion is drawn through the outer 100mm sleeve as the carbon gases are expelled in the central 60mm polypropylene core to allow for safe dissipation.
Sealed Combustion Safety: The boiler burner is completely sealed from any of the Indoor air and is directly connected to the outside.
UV & Corrosion Protection: Made with high grade aluminium and a UV-stabilised, weather-resistant plastic that will maintain its original colour and resist degrading from continuous exposure to rain and high summer UV radiation.
Smart Aesthetics: Sleek black looks at home against slate, dark tile, and felt roof lines that keep the exterior of the house looking as good as possible.
Integrated Storm Collar: Rainwater is repelled off the flashing and keeps the moisture out of your vulnerable roof area to stop it where it enters.
Push-Fit Connection: The high-spec EPDM rubber seals ensure a rapid gas tight connection with no tools needed with it fitting directly to Vaillant 60/100mm flue pipes and elbows.
Full Terminal Kit: Comes with the vertical roof duct, black terminal head, securing collar, cover plate, and mounting bracket supplied to assure a sound mechanical fix.
Gas Safe Compliance & Safety Certification
UK regulations (BS 5440-1, Building Regulations Part J), state that the flue installation must be carried out by a registered Gas Safe Engineer.
Clearances: Ensure that the terminal outlet maintains no less than minimum Vaillant specified distances from roof windows, skylights, boundaries, and opposed buildings.
Plume Consideration: Condensing boilers discharge visible water vapour (plume) in cold conditions. Vertical terminals can discharge the plume safely in an upward direction to prevent disturbance to neighbouring properties when installed at a low level.
