Vaillant Flue Duct Extension 1000mm (60/100mm)
The Vaillant 1000mm Flue Duct Extension (MPN: 303903) is a genuine part used to add length to the overall reach of the horizontal or vertical flue run on Vaillant ecoTEC condensing boiler systems. It gives heating engineers an actual installed extension length of 970mm including the 30mm socket engagement. This is the required amount of tubing, to safely go around long building runs or thick wall cavities, loft spaces and for roof terminations.
It has a PP (polypropylene, acid resistant) exhaust core and a white steel, powder-coated air intake duct and is fitted with the push-fit socket for the correct installation of the extension. It also uses EPDM rubber seals that push outward against the joint for a tight seal, even as pipes start to expand and contract.

Simple Installation & Flue Planning
If the length of the flue run requires the extension to be less than 970mm, this can easily be cut to size on the job. Make sure that you measure from the socket end and cut cleanly through both the inner polypropylene tube and the outer steel sleeve at the plain (male) end. Deburr both ends make sure that the inner PP pipe projects 10mm past the outer metal casing so that the gasket can engage fully with the receiving socket.
Although the extension is essential for achieving the necessary length, the total equivalent length of the flue is limited to the maximum specified in the installation manual supplied with each corresponding Vaillant boiler. Also bear in mind that the use of 87° flue elbows will cut your maximum extension length by a further 1.0m and similarly the use of 45° elbows will reduce your extension length by 0.5m respectively.
