The Vaillant Boiler Protection Kit – 22mm is a vital protection system for your boiler. The kit has been put together by Vaillant's engineering team in the UK, and is designed to fit boilers with central heating outputs between 14-27kW. Featuring one of the worlds most powerful magnetic filters to remove ferrous sludge (magnetite) and non-ferrous debris, protecting the pump and heat exchanger amongst other vital components from damage which could otherwise be quite costly.

The protection kit comes with a robust brass case, high-quality magnet (12,000-gauss neodymium) and includes a water quality testing kit for immediate protection on your boiler. It also gives compatible systems the option to extend their warranty to a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Advanced Magnetic Filtration: A powerful 12,000-gauss neodymium magnet is used to attract fine micro-particles of ferrous sludge (magnetite) all the way down to a microscopic 5 microns (0.005mm).

Maintenance is easy to sort out on a yearly basis by simply closing both valves, removing the outer magnetic collar (to disperse any collected magnetite), and opening the fitted drain valve, so that the sludge flows directly into a bucket without dismantling the filter itself.
