Vaillant 2 x 45° Elbow Set ecoTEC / ecoMAX (60/100mm)
The Vaillant 2 x 45° Flue Elbow Set (MPN: 303911) is an authentic Vaillant authorised concentric flue accessory for giving flexibility to awkward and intricate flue termination layouts. This specific set consists of two 60/100mm 45° bends that allow heating engineers to fit a safe and flexible installation of horizontal or vertical flue elbows. These can be ducted around joists and other structural obstructions, without affecting boiler performance or safety regulations.
The elbows are skilfully made using a tough polypropylene (PP) inner exhaust duct and a weatherproof white powder-coated outer casing. Vaillant uses a simple push-fit connection to give an instantly gastight joint, with EPDM rubber seals of the highest quality.
Features and Benefits: Vaillant 2 x 45° Elbow Set
Genuine Manufacturer Component: Exactly matches the design of the original component to give an airtight seal. All manufacturer installation warranties and guidelines for Vaillant boilers are followed.
60/100mm Standard Concentric Fitting: Designed for your normal domestic horizontal and vertical concentric air/flue systems.
Comes as a Pair: Consists of two 45° elbows that give installers the offset capacity to step flue routes laterally over walls or structural joists.
Push-Fit Connection: Quick-fit sockets with EPDM internal rubber gaskets provide a simple and safe fit to a sealed jointing system.
High Chemical & Thermal Resistance: Specifically designed for withstanding acidic flue condensate and l flue temperatures for your typical boilers found in many homes.
Precision Flue Offsets Around Building Obstacles
Structural obstructions such as steel I-beams, ceiling joists, downpipes, and soil stacks often block the straight path of the flue. Using two 45°elbows gives the installer the freedom to step the flue laterally around the obstruction and back into parallel with the original path to the external wall or vertical roof terminal.
Maintaining Correct Condensate Drainage Pitch
Horizontal flue runs must not fall at a rate below a continuous minimum rate of slope of 3° (approximately 52mm per metre) towards the boiler. To help effective and correct drainage of condensate back towards the internal trap, the elbow design guarantees no ridges (which will form if the internal diameter of the elbow does not match the pipe) where the condensate could pool and therefore corrode the pipe, prematurely.
