ATEX Zone 22 Rated Dust Extraction

The Dustcontrol DC1800 H EX is designed for source extraction and general cleaning in environments requiring Zone 22 compliant equipment. Its lightweight construction supports frequent movement between work areas, while the steel container and earth-bonded components provide controlled dust handling and discharge paths for static. The brushless motor enables spark-free operation for use with airborne combustible dusts.

Filtration System

The unit includes a polyester fine filter with 99.9% separation efficiency (EN 60335-2-69, Class M) and a HEPA H13 filter with 0.85 m² surface area. Combined, the filtration system provides 99.995% machine separation efficiency in accordance with EN 60335-2-69 Appendix A-A. This supports applications involving airborne particulates generated from cutting, grinding and cleaning operations.

Performance and Construction

With a maximum airflow of 200 m³/h and 27 kPa negative pressure, the extractor delivers stable suction for portable tool extraction. The steel container has a 20-litre capacity and is fitted for controlled dust collection. The motor housing meets IP54 requirements for equipment intended for non-conductive dust environments. Operating noise is rated at 70 dB(A).
