Calorex DH 150 Floor Standing Refrigerant Dehumidifier
Robust industrial 150L dehumidifier
The Calorex DH 150 Floor Standing Refrigerant Dehumidifier has been designed specifically for removing large volumes of moisture from spaces such as warehouses, metal storage, electrical sub-stations, museums, art galleries, furniture storage and classic car storage facilities. With the ability to remove up to 150 litres of water per day, this high-moisture extraction floor standing dehumidifier is also suitable for data centres, offices, archives, sports halls, gyms and more.
Control humidity levels with integral humidistat
The Calorex DH 150 is a self-contained industrial dehumidifier with integral humidistat that allows you to set the desired humidity level. When the relative humidity in the space varies from the set level, the dehumidifier will automatically turn on or shut down.
Quality components built to last
Made from plastisol coated galvanised steel, the DH 150 is a tough, high-performance dehumidifier that recirculates the air and physically removes moisture thanks to a maximum air flow 1,180m3/h. It has a constant fan flow that automatically adjusts to ducting and is equipped with a polyester coated evaporator and condenser. This Calorex dehumidifier has a heat output of 9kW at 80°C and boasts heat recovered to air at 30°C/60% RH is 7.4kW.
Removes moisture to protect sensitive spaces
Effective dehumidification provides maximum protection in spaces such as museums and historic buildings, where priceless exhibits and artefacts are stored. If the relative humidity is too high, condensation can form on surfaces and mould and rot can set in while the rising and falling of humidity levels can cause degradation.
This can be avoided by maintaining the relative humidity at correct and stable levels. The Calorex DH 150 high capacity dehumidifier's functionality and easy operation make it ideal for period properties, museums and archives or anywhere where preservation is vital.
Helps maintain safe humidity levels
These dehumidifiers also help prevent corrosion of vulnerable metal surfaces, body panels and dry damp rooms substantially quicker than heat to the point where classic cars can be stored for periods of time without moisture related degradation.
Storage of such equipment as steel at the correct humidity is critical and can often reduce the requirement for additional surface protection systems while in storage.
Where data centres are constructed in climatic regions that experience high air temperatures and moisture contents, humidity control, humidity control is essential to stop moisture in the fresh air supply from condensing into the room, risking damage to valuable data centre infrastructure and operation.
Hot gas defrost function helps perform in low temperatures
Although refrigerant dehumidifiers are susceptible to ice formation at lower temperatures, the DH 150 is equipped with a hot gas defrost system to melt any ice and has an operating temperature range of 5-35°C. With an operating volume of just 58dB, which is the same volume as a normal conversation, this is an extremely quiet dehumidifier that is suited to areas that require minimum disruption.
Optional Accessories Available
A range of optional accessories are available for the Calorex DH 150 dehumidifier, including an air filter kit, a condensate pump, external condenser unit and compressor soft start.
Turning hoods are available for the DH150, which sit on top of the unit and allow the direction of the airflow to be altered. We have both a standard turning hood and a turning hood with a 9kW electric heater available for this model.
We also have a low pressure hot water (LPHW) option. The LPHW option is a heating coil which can be added inside the unit. It works the same as a radiator in your house - so it needs to be plumbed into a boiler system. It provides a source of heat which warms the air, allowing it to absorb more moisture that the dehumidifier can extract, and it provides a heat source for occupants working within the space.
An air inlet duct kit is also available, which allows the dehumidifier to be used with a ducting system, to draw air in over large areas in spaces such as factories, warehouses and food production facilities.
Please Note: This high capacity dehumidifier is made to order in the UK - there is a lead time of 6-8 weeks.
