Compact professional dehumidifier for water damage restoration
The Aerial AD 20 is a tough, efficient and effective condensation dehumidifier for drying spaces out following water damage such as leaks and floods, for managing humidity in challenging spaces such as homes under renovation, basements and cellars, as well as for preservation applications in storage and archiving rooms.
This professional dehumidifier is made in Germany and capable of extracting up to 18 litres of moisture from the air per day. An efficient two-speed axial fan draws air into the machine and passes it over a set of refrigerated coils. On contact with the cold surface, the moisture in the air condenses into liquid, removing it from the air. The air is then passed through a hot condenser before it is expelled back out into the room.
The Aerial AD20 refrigerant dehumidifier features an automatic condensate pump, meaning that it pumps the collected moisture directly out of the unit via a hose (hose available separately). This makes it ideal for continuous drying applications, as there is no need to continuously empty a water tank. It can also be used in challenging spaces such as basements and cellars, as the pump is capable of lifting the water out of these areas, to a height of up to 4m.

The Aerial AD20 condensation dehumidifier is a compact, convenient and highly portable unit. It has a very small footprint, with the housing measuring just 42 x 32 x 50 cm, and a lightweight design – weighing just 16.4kg. It features handles on either side of the unit so it is very easy to transport to and from a site, and to carry around an area. The convenient design also allows AD20 units to be stacked on top of each other, or on top of other models in the Aerial Aercube range of professional drying equipment, for a compact equipment profile and simple transport and storage. Fix points on the sides of the unit allow for lashing to be attached for security during transport.

At the heart of the Aerial AD 20 dehumidifier is efficient and economic drying, for effective water damage restoration.
This dehumidifier features Aerial's eDRY® electronic system, which improves the user-friendliness and energy efficiency of the AD dehumidifier series. The use of digital precision detectors in conjunction with the eDRY® electronic system allows for highly precise measurement and control of room humidity. The display shows the set and actual humidity. Operating hours can be easily read off the display. The drying technician receives the information required to ensure that the job can be managed easily.
An integrated humidistat allows you to select a required humidity and the AD20 will switch itself on and off automatically to maintain the set humidity level, saving energy and adding convenience on the job.
The AD20 dehumidifier also incorporates Aerial's BlueDry® technology, which ensures that it is able to perform reliably even at lower humidity and colder temperatures.

This dehumidifier is designed for professional water damage restoration applications. It features a robust impact-resistant roto-moulded plastic housing which protects from knocks on site and makes it easy to clean. The casing can be opened-up for easy cleaning and maintenance, and an air filter behind the air intake helps to filter out dust particles to prevent poor quality air from being circulated by the dehumidifier.
The Aerial AD20 dehumidifier also features new eco-friendly F-Gas compliant refrigerant and an efficient two-speed axial fan, which offers airflows of 300m3 or 225m3. The digital control panel makes this dehumidifier very easy to operate and offers precise readouts and monitoring of conditions.
Energy consumption is displayed via the calibrated energy meter. An additional fused socket on the side of the unit allows multiple dehumidifiers to be connected together and powered from the single plug outlet socket. The Aerial AD20 refrigerant dehumidifier also features automatic restart after power failure – ideal for sites with unreliable power.
OEM orders for the Aerial AD20 dehumidifier are available - ideal for restoration companies and hire companies. The casing can be manufactured with a custom RAL colour finish and a company logo moulded into the housing (tooling charge applicable). Delivery time for OEM orders is approx. 6 weeks from receipt of order.
