Effective filtration system

The Winix Zero Pro air purifier cleans the air using a 5 part filtration system. First, the material pre-filter captures any larger particles, like dust and loose hair. The pre-filter is a removable, washable fine mesh cover that protects the internal components of the air purifier so that the other filters last much longer. Inside the machine, there is a carbon filter and a true HEPA filter. The carbon filter captures the organic particles in the air and helps to reduce natural odours, such as smells from animals, cooking, smoking and more. The True HEPA Filter removes 99.97% of all remaining particles in the air, such as fine dust, allergens, fungi and pollen. The Winix Zero Pro air purifier is treated with an antimicrobial coating known as CleanCel®. CleanCel® protects the equipment from bacterial contamination and growth so that the filters and other components remain safe and clean throughout use. PlasmaWave® technology creates hydroxyl radical chemical compounds - a single hydrogen atom and a single oxygen atom paired together. This molecule is unstable and highly reactive - it attracts more atoms from other, neighbouring molecules - effectively destroying them - as it attempts to stabilise. The hydroxyl radical occurs naturally in our atmosphere - breaking down methane, plus other natural and human-made pollutants, such as benzyl, nitrous oxide, vinyl chloride and more. The hydroxyl radical steals atoms from these pollutants, rearranging their chemical structures to form new, safe and harmless molecules, like water and hydrogen. The Winix Zero Pro uses PlasmaWave® technology to emulate this natural purification process inside, at home and work.
