It is supplied as a ready to fit bundle with standard horizontal telescopic flue, giving you a comprehensive heating solution for your modern retrofit or new build project.
With its ErP 'A' rating (92% seasonal efficiency) and its 1:8 modulation ratio, means that this boiler has the ability to reduce its output by up to 12.5% of its total output. It constantly cuts back its consumption of gas to cope with a reduced demand, holding a steady household temperature while keeping your energy bills as low as they can be.

Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger: High quality Inox-Radial stainless steel was used for the protection against corrosion and also contributes to the self cleaning of the boiler.
Burner & Control: Lambda Pro Control with a MatriX-Plus burner automatically controls combustion and optimises efficiency whilst producing an excellent low Class 6 NOx rating too.
Gas Compatibility: It can be used with natural gas, LPG which is software selectable and requires no conversion of any kind, and a hydrogen blend up to 20%.
Hydraulic Components: Built inside the boiler is a variable-speed pump, a 3-way diverter valve, and an 8-litre expansion vessel which gets rid of any additional pipework outside of the boiler itself while at the same time reducing installation time.
Smart Connectivity: With Wi-Fi installed, the pump can be controlled from the ViCare app and can be linked to the Vitoguide app to assist installers during the commissioning of the boiler.
Control Panel: It features a user-friendly interface with a back-lit LCD touchscreen along with touch buttons and easy to read diagnostic readouts that are compatible with OpenTherm / ViCare load-compensating controls.
System Setup: Designed with dedicated flow and return connections that work in conjunction with a separate hot water cylinder, a feature we like to highlight to customers with multiple bathroom homes.
Telescopic Flue Included: It is supplied as a package with a flexible length horizontal flue making fitting easy and removing the need to cut pipework.

The Vitodens 050-W is the smallest boiler in its class. Standing just 700mm high and 300mm deep, we think it must be one of the only boilers that can be neatly installed between two kitchen cabinets. It also fits nicely under a kitchen table or in a tight utility cupboard with all major parts easily accessible for simple maintenance and service by Gas Safe engineers.
