Energy saving controller for infrared heaters up to 6kW

The Infresco T 6kW is an energy-saving controller designed for use with quartz infrared halogen lamps and other patio heating and lighting products up to 6kW. It allows the lamps to be switched on for a pre-set time period from 1 to 60 minutes. This prevents heaters from being left on unnecessarily, reducing energy consumption and cutting costs.

Soft-start & zero-voltage switch off protects lamps

This microcontroller-based unit incorporates zero-voltage switching and a soft-start function, this means the infrared patio heater turns on and off gradually to protect its internal parts and help it last longer.  This eliminates the initial current rush when lamps are switched on, which can increase lamp life by up to 30%. The soft-start also helps avoid nuisance tripping of circuit breakers.

IP65 rated for indoor & outdoor use

The Infresco-T controller has an IP65 rated housing, allowing it to be installed indoors or outdoors. Installation is simple via the mounting holes and cable gland entries. Once installed, the unit is relatively maintenance-free for ease of use.
