The Infresco-P 6kW is an advanced controller designed to optimise energy efficiency when used with quartz infrared halogen lamps or other heating and lighting products. This innovative 'P' model features a built-in PIR sensor, enabling the lamps to automatically switch on only when people are detected in the area, reducing unnecessary energy consumption. Installing this controller is a simple process, and once installed, the unit is relatively maintenance-free. With its compact dimensions of 32.5 × 23.5 × 16 cm and a weight of only 0.95 kg, this controller is easy to handle and integrate into your existing setup for infrared patio heating and lighting.

Temperature-sensitive & customisable

In addition to the PIR sensor, this Infresco infrared heater controller is equipped with a temperature sensor that monitors the outside temperature. When the temperature exceeds a predetermined set point, adjustable between 5°C and 25°C, the controller intelligently inhibits the lamps, further enhancing energy savings. The controller also allows users to set the lamp on-time between 1 and 60 minutes, providing flexibility to suit various applications. Whenever the PIR sensor detects movement, this period is reset, ensuring that the lamps remain on as long as people are in the area.

Soft start function & zero-voltage switching

The microcontroller-based unit incorporates zero-voltage switching and a soft-start function, which eliminates the lamps' initial high inrush current. This feature can potentially increase lamp life by as much as 30%, reducing maintenance costs and providing a longer lifespan for your lighting setup.
