Heylo HL 400 Air Purifier
7-stage air filtration for a healthy indoor environment
The Heylo HL 400 air purifier is a mobile air filter device. Air is drawn in from the room and passed through a 7-stage filtration system, to remove airborne contaminants and create a healthier indoor environment.
Numerous pathogens are normally found in untreated indoor air. This includes mould spores, bacteria, animal hair and, above all, house dust allergens. These contaminants can trigger allergy symptoms and illnesses. The Heylo HL 400 air cleaner can significantly reduce the concentration of these contaminants and generate healthier indoor air.
This model is ideal for use in homes, offices, schools, gyms and a range of other commercial spaces. It features an easy to use digital control panel and it comes with a remote control. The fan has 3 speed settings and offers extra quiet operation at night.
The individual filtration stages have the following functions:
1st Stage - Pre-filter
An aluminium filter is used as a pre-filter. The pre-filter filters coarse dust particles of more than 5 micrometers, such as house dust, scales, pollen. The filter can be washed out with water and can therefore be used several times. Heylo recommends replacing the pre-filter annually. Clean 2 x per month and filter change every 2 years.
2nd & 3rd Stage
Cold catalytic converter filter
The catalytic decomposition reaction of the cold catalyst does not require UV radiation, high temperatures or high pressure. Under normal temperature conditions, the catalytic reaction can remove formaldehyde, benzene, xylene, TVOC and other harmful gases. The reaction produces water and carbon dioxide. It does not lead to secondary pollution. It is a safe and environmentally friendly state-of-the-art product, suitable for a healthy home. During the catalytic reaction the cold catalyst itself is not directly involved in the reaction. The functionality does not change or get lost. For this reason, a service life of about 5 years can be assumed.
Effective formaldehyde filter
The formaldehyde filter with activated carbon cleans the air of unwanted odours, gases and substances. It also cleans the air of harmful formaldehyde in a very short time. The substances are absorbed by the activated carbon and when the filter is saturated, it must be replaced. Heylo recommends this every 6 months. In the case of heavy odour pollution, such as cigarette smoke, a more frequent change may also be advisable.
Clean every 2 months and filter change 2 x per year.
4th & 5th Stage
Antibacterial cotton filter
The antibacterial filter is a precision filter that filters particles with a diameter of 5 micrometers. The special filter material is also equipped with an antibacterial agent that can effectively kill 99% of all bacteria.
Highly efficient EPA filter (suspended matter filter)
The EPA filter filters airborne germs, smoke and dust particles down to 1µm in size at a rate of 99% or more. In combination with the multifunctional filter, the EPA filter can filter out microscopic particles with a diameter of more than 20 nanometers, including bacterial mould, dust, allergens and some viruses. According to the World Health Organization, the corona virus, bird flu virus, influenza virus and legionella bacteria are all larger than 20 nanometers.
Clean every 2 months and filter change 2 x per year.
6th Stage - Sterilizing UV light
UV sterilization with 365 nanometer UV wavelengths light can kill a variety of airborne bacteria. The UV disinfection lamp is generally used for air, surface and water disinfection. It can clean the air and remove musty odours. This makes the air fresh and prevents the spread of viruses in the air or on surfaces.
7th Stage - Ionization
By applying strong electric fields, ionizers can electrically charge individual air particles and thus increase the ion concentration in the room air. The charged particles are more reactive and can thus destroy odour molecules and other pollutants. At the same time, differently charged particles attract each other and form larger lumps that sink to the ground faster and can be filtered out of the air more easily.
