The Grant Aerona 290 4kW Air Source Heat Pump provides smaller homes and new builds with reliable and efficient heating and hot water. At 4kW, it is the smallest model in Grant’s fifth-generation Aerona 290 range, and is backed by over 40 years of British heating experience. This heat pump gives properties a source of dependable hot water and heating, along with very low noise levels, and housed in a sleek black monobloc chassis.

Designed for simple home installations, this monobloc unit works by extracting the natural warmth from the air outside, even during a freezing UK winter. Heat pumps are now the best way to reduce your carbon emissions and running costs by transferring heat directly through conventional hydronic networks. Moving towards an eco-friendly heat source is the future for modern UK homes.

4kW Heat Output: Its 4kW nominal heat output has been specially designed for lower heat loss environments (4.10 kW at A-5/W55) to stop the heat pump from being oversized in properly insulated properties.
R290 Refrigerant: This green propane refrigerant has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) score of only 3 to lower your households carbon emissions while staying ahead of changes to UK and European F-Gas environmental regulations that are just around the corner.
Low 40 dB(A) Sound Level: We reckon this is around the same level as a domestic fridge, ideal for homes in close proximity to their neighbours.
High Water Flow: Connecting easily to your existing radiator setup, it can heat water up to 75°C for your radiators and 70°C for your tap and shower water.

All of this is controllable via the optional Aerona Smart WiFi Hub for changing settings from the comfort of your smartphone.
