The Grant Aerona 290 12kW Air Source Heat Pump has been designed to provide households with reliable heating and hot water all year round. Backed by over 40 years of British heating knowledge, the Aerona 290 is Grant's fifth-generation heat pump. Its chic black finish combines low operating levels with high productivity, giving homeowners a unit that fits neatly and unobtrusively into outdoor spaces.

Ideal for both new builds or upgrading existing systems, the Aerona 290 monobloc unit extracts heat from the outdoor air even during cold winter weather. This heat is then moved into radiators and underfloor heating, lowering carbon footprints while wildly reducing energy costs compared to old oil and LPG boilers.

R290 Refrigerant: Using a green propane gas that has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) score of only 3 to lower your households carbon emissions while staying ahead of changes to UK and European F-Gas environmental regulations that are just around the corner.
Excellent Heat Output: The system can produce up to 4.74 kW of heat at a 35°C flow rate for every 1 kW of electricity that is used. To lower your annuall heating bills, this eco-efficient system is designed to keep electricity use down to a minimum.
High Water Flow: Connecting easily to your existing radiator setup, it can heat water up to 75°C for your radiators and 70°C for your tap and shower water.
Operating Range of -25°C to 35°C: Providing your home with heat and hot water all through the winter.
Anti-Freeze Protection: A built-in heater on the base stops the unit from freezing over, even in the predictable bleak British winter. This not only stops ice from forming but also extends the lifespan of the unit.

Smart Weather Controller

You can easily connect this heat pump to Grant’s Aerona Smart Controller, which features a colour touchscreen, changing settings on the fly based on changes in the weather in real-time. It can control up to three separate heating areas in your home, and features a heating schedule for every day of the week. All of this is controllable via the optional Aerona Smart WiFi Hub for changing setting from the comfort of your smartphone.
