WiFi Controlled Unit
The PLSTiE is a slimline panel heating system connected directly to Wi-Fi and can be controlled either from the integral electronic 7-day timer or via the Consort Connect app which provides complete control remotely. This free-to-use app is accessible on both Google Play and Apple Stores. The app provides the same control functionality as the digital control panel on the heater and is simple to set up. Configure settings of all connected heaters and view energy usage on the last day, week, month, and year.
These units are available in heat output capacities of 0.5kW, 0.75kW, 1kW, or 1.5kW. Temperature outputs range from setback temperatures of 4°C to 15°C that can be used for frost protection to the more comfortable temperatures that range between 15°C to 35°C. These units have a maximum surface temperature of 43° and maintain the temperature within 0.7 degrees.
Each heater has a built safety monitoring feature. These features help to prevent high surface temperatures and the heaters will beep at different intervals to indicate the type of failure. The safety monitoring will identify overheating, fan failure, and certain electronic faults. Each unit also has an automatic safety cut-out to prevent overheating.
The series adaptive fan settings automatically adjust relative to the room’s current temperature to achieve a warm airflow temperature. This eliminates the heater from blowing cold air when initially powered on in a cold room. These machines also offer a robust design and come splashproof to IP24 for use in bathrooms and other damp areas. Included hinged wall mounting system makes installation and decorating simple. Further comes with a strengthened grille to increase durability, concealed digital controls on the heater, and a digital control panel has an easy-to-read display and 4 large control buttons with tactile feedback.
These units offer a slimline design, produce very low noise levels, incorporate an EC motor for improved energy efficiency, and have a LED indicator light. Each has a 7-day timer with 24 heating periods per day. The user will also view energy consumption statistics. Other features include Open Window tracking and response capability. Copy day function, create scenes, and time/location-based automation. 4 operating modes: Programme, Boost, Setback & Manual. Boost option for up to 4 hours in 15-minutes steps.
