The PLE range is an energy-efficient panel heating system designed with a self-learning control ability that uses in-built occupancy sensors to detect and learn a user’s weekly presence in a room. These units create a heating schedule that automatically warms the room according to the detected or predicted occupancy. When the room is empty, the heater will conserve energy by switching to the lower setback temperature (frost protection mode).
These heaters connect directly to WiFi networks and can be controlled either from the integral electronic 7-day timer or via the Consort Connect app which provides complete control remotely. The app is free and can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple Store. It provides the same control features as the digital control panel on the heater and is simple to set up. With the app, users can configure the settings of all connected heaters and view energy usage on the last day, week, month, and year.
These units are available in a range of heat capacity outputs from 0.5kW, 0.75kW, 1kW, 1.25kW, 1.5kW or 2kW. This series offers temperatures from as low as 4°C to 15°C, (frost protection mode), to 15°C to 35°C. Each machine can easily maintain temperatures within 0.7 degrees. Each also offers the ability to view energy consumption statistics. In built open window tracking and response, capability ensures an even more efficient and adaptive user experience. Further features include copy day function, create scenes and time/location-based automation, 4 operating modes: Programme, Boost, Setback & Manual, and boost option for up to 4 hours in 15-minutes steps.
These units offer a robust design and come with strengthened grilles to increase durability. Each is very quiet during operation. Further, they have a concealed digital control on a heater, the digital control panel has an easy-to-read display, and 4 large control buttons with tactile feedback. All are splashproof to IP24 for use in bathrooms and other damp areas. Each of these white finished devices is also fitted with 1.8m of the supply cable. A variety of safety functionality has also been built into these units including a lock function that includes a 4-digit pin code to prevent accidental or purposeful changes to settings. Further, these units have an automatic safety cut-out in the event of overheating.
