The Master EKO 3 is a high quality 2.3kW electric bed bug heater, specifically developed for pest control applications. You can use the Master EKO 3 in domestic and commercial spaces, and anywhere containing mattresses, boxspring, couches, chairs, walls, ceilings, furniture, and other hiding spots that pests tend to favour.
Please Note: The EKO 3 alone will not be able to heat a standard room, it is designed to be used in small spaces or as a support to a secondary heat source. This heater comes with a 10m cable to be plugged in outside of the room.
This heater can be used in domestic and commercial spaces to tackle a range of different bugs and pests, such as bedbugs, dust mites, flour beetles, grain beetles, meal moths and many other types of pests, their eggs and their larvae.
Using heat treatment to tackle bugs and pests is much more effective, convenient and environmentally friendly than using chemicals. They also help to dry buildings to prevent book louse and plaster beetles.
Over time these pests have developed a resistance to pest control chemicals, so the effectiveness of chemical solutions is reducing. Chemicals also pose a risk to the environment, as contaminated insects are eaten by predators which then come into contact with the poisons. Chemical solutions also often fail to deal with the larvae or eggs – so even if it seems the bugs may have been killed, the problem will only return in a matter of weeks.
The optimal temperature for killing pests such as bugs, larvae and eggs is around 50°C. They need to be exposed to this temperature for at least one hour, though preferably longer for some species, as the exposure to this sort of temperature for a period of time causes them to die from dehydration.
The Master EKO 3 pest control heater can be placed inside a bug infested room and are used to circulate large volumes of warm air, to help reach and maintain the optimal temperature of 50°C and kill the bugs. This method of pest control acts quickly and gets rid of all the bugs, their larvae and eggs. The premises are immediately accessible and ready for use following treatment, because there is no residual gases or fumes. The EKO 3 is designed to work in conjunction with a primary heat source in order to effectively reach temperatures suitable for bed bug and pest control treatments.

The Master EKO 3 is not just a standard electric fan heater. It has been developed specifically for the task of dealing with bed bugs and other bug pests in domestic and commercial spaces.
This heater draws air in at its base, heats the air and then circulates the warm air out of the top of the unit. The heater continues to recirculate the air within the space through its system, increasing the air temperature by 15°C each time. (eg. 20°C->35°C ->50°C- 60°C).
The large airflow and even temperature distribution that this heater offers helps it to completely fill the space with the warm air - even into tight spaces and crevices. The heater is capable of maintaining the temperature for long periods, causing the bugs, larvae and eggs to dehydrate.
A digital thermostat and temperature sensor come included with the heater. They allow the required temperature to be set, monitored and held in order to provide effective bug killing. This unit also features a an overheat thermostat which shuts the unit down in the event of overheating, and a motor with thermal protection and intervention.
The compact size of the Master EKO 3 bed bug heater makes it easy to store when not in use, and, at just 19kg, it is easy to carry around from job to job.
