Condensate Pump Kit Available: A condensate pump cassette with a 10m hose can be supplied, ideal when gravity fed drainage is not possible. This allows the unit to pump the condensate to a drain up to 10m from the dehumidifier and has a vertical lift capability of 3 metres. Using the pump removes the need to manually empty the water tank when it becomes full, and allows moisture to be pumped out of basements and cellars easily.
Optional Remote Hygrostat Available: The hygrostat comes with a 3m cable and allows you to set a desired humidity level within the space. The hygrostat will switch the dehumidifier on and off automatically in order to maintain the set humidity level, saving energy and adding extra convenience.
Galvanised Steel Design: The outer casing is manufactured from powder coated hot galvanized steel and the evaporator and condenser are epoxy coated, for protection and durability on site.
Hot Gas Defrost: An automatic defrosting function is also built into the system. If the evaporator reaches 5℃, the solenoid valve flushes the evaporator with hot gas. Once a preset temperature is reached, the dehumidifier resumes regular operation.
Large Wheels & Handle: The adjustable handle and large durable wheels allow for excellent mobility between rooms and even up stairs and down to basements.

The Dantherm CDT 40S is a professional refrigerant dehumidifier for rapid extraction of excess moisture in a room. It is an efficient, cost-effective dehumidifier that is suitable for use in industrial, commercial, and domestic properties following a leak, flood or construction and renovation work. The CDT 40S has an airflow of 560 m³/h and an impressive operating temperature range of 3 - 35℃ for effective drying in a range of challenging conditions.

The Dantherm CDT 40S can remove up to 43.5 litres of water within 24 hours. It contains an efficient high-pressure fan to quickly draw in large volumes of humid air through the vent. The air passes through a refrigerated evaporator inside the dehumidifier. The evaporator is kept cold and cools the air down to below its dew point temperature. The moisture in the air then condensates and drops into the internal 14 litre water collection tank. The dry air is then passed through a hot condenser before it is expelled back into the room.
The Dantherm CDT 40S MKIII is a more environmentally friendly refrigerant dehumidifier. It contains the newer, eco-friendly R454c refrigerant, which offers improved efficiency, is non-toxic and easily replaces the previous refrigerant used. R454c meets all of the 2020 EU regulations for safe use in climate control equipment.
The CDT 40S is made with a long-lasting, powder coated hot galvanized steel with plastic bumpers at the base. Both the evaporator and the condenser are coated with an epoxy resin to protect them from rust and other potential damage. The unit is narrow enough to safely navigate through halls, doorways, and passages without damaging the panels, doors, or walls. These mobile dehumidifiers are stackable, which makes them ideal for storage and transport from site to site. The adjustable handles, large wheels, and overall lightweight construction make the Dantherm CDT 40S extremely easy to move from area to area.

For further usability, the CDT 40S automatically stops operating if the water tank reaches capacity so it can be left on while unattended. An automatic defrosting function is also built into the system. If the evaporator reaches 5℃, ice will begin to form on the surface. To prevent an impact on the performance of the dehumidifier, the solenoid valve flushes the evaporator with hot gas. Once a preset temperature is reached, the dehumidifier resumes regular operation.
The Dantherm CDT 40S has a 14 litres water collection tank as standard. A ½” hose can also be connected to the dehumidifier for gravity fed drainage, allowing continuous operation so that you do not need to keep emptying the water tank. As an upgrade, you can choose to replace the tank with a condensate pump cassette and 10 metre drain hose. The pump even has a vertical lift capability of 3 metres. This is ideal for areas where gravity fed continuous drainage is not possible. Using the condensate pump cassette also removes the need to manually empty the water tank when it becomes full. You can also add a remote hygrostat to your order. The hygrostat comes with a 3 metre cable and allows you to set a desired humidity level within the space. The hygrostat will switch the dehumidifier on and off as required in order to maintain the set humidity level, saving energy costs and adding extra convenience.
